They were works of art. I am now intrigued by the man's style as you have mentioned.

Lenore, of course your are!

Zhush, you might have to remedy that.

Agnes, many thanks for your visit!David Tomshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13181690917362173400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2922868706165678396.post-58080618346271071802011-03-31T04:50:14.862-04:002011-03-31T04:50:14.862-04:00elles sont toutes MAGNIFIQUES, j'adoreelles sont toutes MAGNIFIQUES, j'adoreagneshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08736633883471478144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2922868706165678396.post-73731008353115206972011-03-30T07:15:22.835-04:002011-03-30T07:15:22.835-04:00Wondering to myself at this moment why I don't...Wondering to myself at this moment why I don't own a single pair of Viviers! hmmmm....Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11519235927578584348noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2922868706165678396.post-82861526944039704822011-03-30T06:00:30.207-04:002011-03-30T06:00:30.207-04:00BIG turn ON!BIG turn ON!LenoreNeverM♡rehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08964343661261469513noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2922868706165678396.post-64835140570833979102011-03-29T21:51:43.312-04:002011-03-29T21:51:43.312-04:00I like the Roger Vivier shoes that were designed b...I like the Roger Vivier shoes that were designed by Vivier himself, either under his own name or for Dior. The Duchess of Windsor had many, many pairs of them. They were much lower and I think more chic and elegant. These seem strained, trying too hard, and in light of all the tragedy in the world recently, perhaps inappropriate.

Shoes date terribly quickly, and yet for all their inventiveness and chic, any pair of Vivier shoes from the 60s could be worn today and receive many favourable comments. The man himself had incredible style, and his homes were examples of great taste, almost better than work by Givenchy or David Hicks.Square With Flairhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10587474304650348836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2922868706165678396.post-31434800724718193422011-03-29T16:49:56.225-04:002011-03-29T16:49:56.225-04:00Swoon!Swoon!Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08171054999389018364noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2922868706165678396.post-64490270377754040182011-03-29T06:58:31.469-04:002011-03-29T06:58:31.469-04:00Anything with a heel, and i'm spell bound.
