Christmas Kisses from Fauchon!

A very good friend of mine here in Toronto, knows all my weaknesses. Having just returned from Paris, she gave me for Christmas a little tin of Fauchon Pralines. I have an incredible weakness for chocolate and Fauchon!

With fabulous window displays and food it is one of my first stops whenever going to Paris. Here I am sealing Christmas with lots of kisses from Fauchon! These lips are fabulous, and I love the creative force behind them. The signature shocking pink is one of my favourite colours!

Have a wonderful Christmas all, and a big thank you to all my followers. May the season bring to you all that is dear to your heart!

  5. Wow! There's advertising that stays on your mind. My special holiday treat is from a friend who makes pizelles every year. Aren't we lucky to know people who remember such weaknesses!

I'm wishing you a most happy holiday!

  15. Yes, Fauchon is a very chic emporium of delectable foods, but I had never seen their advertisements before. How decadently Parisian. As Mark said, they are memorable, and I say they are certainly striking.

I saw the Fauchon things at Holt's today for half price. Time to stock up on jams, chocolates and gourmet treats.

Best wishes of the Christmas season to you and your readers!

  17. That is so funny. Talk about thinking alike! Imagine if we both wanted that last jar of fraises du bois confiture and we were grabbing it out of each other's hand! Maybe that is why it is called "Boxing" Day? And I'll bet your technique is very good, having seen a number of 'roos in your formative years!

Fifty per cent off is good, but still expensive stuff no? I liked the little tins with the view of Fauchon in the Place de la Madeleine. You've been in to it in Paris,eh? So beautiful!

Their pastries are perfect works of art, with Sotheby's prices to match, but a pleasure to look at a dream of. That store is just amazing.
But one mustn't eat too much Fauchon; I'd fear starting to look like a "cochon!"

By the way, I'm wondering if being from Australia, it is part of your holiday traditions to watch the Queen's Christmas message.

  18. I regret that we no longer have Fauchon in NYC, where I was a regular customer. I understand that the company is on the skids financially. RD
