No Dry Cleaning

We have a wek of rain predicted here in Toronto! Now this means that while walking to work parts of me are going to get wet, and this means some dry cleaning will be in order.

Now if I did not have to worry about dry cleaning, I think I would take my best suit or tuxedo as in this case, and be like this young man and just embrace and dive into it!

So here is to getting wet with Savoir Faire!

  4. James Bond (who had loads of savoir faire) had the good sense to emerge from water with a wet suit covering his tuxedo. Sounds like you should be taking your wet suit to work.

  5. Hello David:
This is great fun! It also reminds us of our young Russian friends who were married in France last summer. After the reception, held in the grounds of a French chateau, they threw themselves fully clothed in wedding attire into the swimming pool. We loved the sheer madness of it all.

Would it be too bold to suggest a walk to work in the rain in your 'birthday suit'? That way, no dry cleaning would be required.

  7. Gosh, We're forecast for a week of rain here and all I've been focusing on is reseeding the lawn and planting or transplanting roses. Alas, neither chore requiring elegant enough clothes that would require dry cleaning.

  9. I can feel your sentiments too since its raining like cats and dogs here too. Dry cleaning and umbrella would be a nice option for this week, unfortunate me. Though I'm always ready for sunshine. :-)
