Channelling Newton for Lanvin

I am loving the current Lanvin campaign shot by Steven Meisel. And the reason why?

It seems that Mr. Meisel has been channelling some Helmut Newton to come up with the inspiration for this.

These are highly provocative, erotically charged photographs, bringing back the disco hey day of the seventies. This is one glamourous cat fight!

  2. Campy and fun, but I don't see the 70s. No, I think this is one of those Roman dinner parties gone bad.

  9. I remember I blogged about this a few weeks ago and said it was my favorite campaign. Funny thing is that the last picture is the background on my phone.. I would fight it out for Lanvin like these girls are..

    All the best, Angel

  11. Newton often gets the credit for this look, but I believe that Guy Bourdin and others also had a similar, very decadent, stylized look.
